What we don't move, and who does.
A short list. Most of it is about safety, some of it is law. We'd rather say no on this page than in your driveway.
Pianos
Upright or grand. They need a piano board, a specialist crew, and a truck fitted for them. Search "piano movers Halifax" and you'll find two or three who do nothing else.
Hot tubs
Heavy, awkward, and usually attached to plumbing and electrical. Hot-tub dealers move them, and they'll disconnect and reconnect too.
Hazardous materials
Propane tanks, gasoline, paint thinner, pool chemicals, fireworks, ammunition. Not allowed on a commercial truck. Empty the BBQ tank and give the chemicals to the HRM depot.
Pets and plants across provinces
Pets ride with you, always. Plants are fine inside Nova Scotia; crossing into Quebec or Ontario, some are restricted and none survive a truck overnight in winter.
Cash, jewellery, documents
Not because we'd lose them. Because nothing replaces them. They go in the bag that stays with you.
Everything else, yes
Safes, pool tables, treadmills, aquariums, artwork, motorcycles, riding mowers, kayaks. Add them in the booking form's heads-up list so the crew brings the right gear.
